The borough of Halton has a unique history and is home to a great variety of organisations and groups who care passionately about local heritage. The Halton Heritage Partnership website brings these groups together to work collaboratively, to share their knowledge, their collections, and their enthusiasm for Halton’s history with people across the borough and beyond.
The website allows users to search over thousand objects, photos and documents accessible online and see their relationship to the changes that have left their mark on Halton since the industrial revolution.
The artist in residence engaged local people with the social and civic history of Halton through creative events and activities.
